Welcome to SGF-Cybersecurity Week 2023
Building on the success of the many cybersecurity conferences, seminars and webinars run by Smart Grid Forums in the past several years, SGF-Cybersecurity Week 2023 draws together 120+ power grid CISOs and their IT and OT cybersecurity leads for a week-long review of recent cybersecurity implementations, as well as the opportunity to collaborate and cooperate on getting the power grid ahead of the threat.
The week begins with a governance briefing. It continues on with a 3-day main conference tackling the big macro issues impacting the sector in these geopolitically challenging times, as well as the technical solutions and strategies that can enable IT-OT integration of the power grid cybersecurity function. The week wraps up with a cloud cybersecurity workshop providing the clarity and confidence power grid teams need to support more extensive migration to the cloud.
Alongside the case-study agenda we have a strong peer networking and technology scouting programme, enabling you to make new contacts and explore new partnership opportunities, within this safe, secure and fully vetted environment.

Programme Structure
Cybersecurity Governance Briefing
Monday 15th May 2023
The week begins with this insightful briefing on the Risk Management priorities of utility CISOs, with presentations shared on the current regulatory landscape, the implications of new standards, securing on-going cybersecurity budget, driving workforce development, and spearheading collaboration. Participants will come away with a clear understanding of what’s keeping the CISO awake at night, and how the entire cybersecurity team and ecosystem must align, to get the power grid ahead of the threat.

IT & OT Cybersecurity Conference & Exhibition
Tuesday 16th to Thursday 18th May 2023
The main conference is comprised of morning plenary sessions where all participants are in one room, addressing macro issues such as regulation, workforce development and data management, and afternoon technical tracks focused on the specific implementation issues impacting IT cybersecurity and OT cybersecurity teams. A combined programme of facilitated networking activities enable IT and OT colleagues to come together and share experiences, expertise, and gain insights into each other’s priorities. Running alongside the conference is an Exhibition area with a focused display of IT and OT cybersecurity solutions proven in the power grid environment.
